This development comprises two buildings which back onto each other, close to Liverpool Street station and Spitalfields Market on the edge of the City of London.
Our architects, Orms, carefully re-thought the two former office buildings to create a new residential complex around a dramatic, hidden courtyard, reminiscent of the traditional London mews. The 26 apartments provide a mixture of studio, one and two-bed units and sit above retail and restaurant space at the ground and basement levels. Each unit is dual aspect, so despite being in a tight, urban area the internal spaces are flooded with daylight. Each apartment also incorporates prefabricated kitchen and bathroom pods.
